REVIEW:

Smell: The cookie has a very dull hint of cocoa but is overall bland. The creme smells slightly sweet.

Pull: The cookies pull apart fairly easily when given a slight twist.

Flavor/Texture: The chocolate cookie is fairly crisp, but tastes rather bland. Upon first taste, the creme has a strange flavor that had me questioning what it was made with. The creme suddenly had a strange after taste which I can only describe as the smell of Play-Doh.

The combination: Together, the cookie remains bland and the creme’s Play-Doh flavor does not help the overall experience. Eating it with milk does help, but that’s not what these reviews are for. The cookies need to stand alone. It’s not an inedible cookie, but leaves much to be desired.

Side note: The cookie design is almost identical to that of Tuxedos with the exception of one tiny nub that’s missing. The ingredients, however, are completely different than Tuxedos. I wonder if that missing nub is enough to be different.

Overall grade: D
