REVIEW:

Smell: The chocolate cookie smells closer to cardboard than it does to chocolate and the creme smells just like the cookie.

Pull: The cookies pull apart without any resistance when fresh.

Flavor/Texture: The cookie itself, sadly, tastes like it smells. By itself, the creme tastes a little sweet but there’s no other discernible flavor other than taking on some of the bad cardboard flavor of the cookie.

The combination: Together, the creme does peek through, but it’s not enough to save the experience from the cookie’s cardboard flavor. There is also a very delayed nutty aftertaste. After the ingredients are listed, the package does say, “may contain milk, egg, peanuts, tree nuts (pecans, almonds, coconuts).” So… I guess a random egg or a coconut “may” fall in to the cookie batter unexpectedly and completely unplanned for some reason… and a stray cardboard box or two?

Overall grade: F

This cookie is, basically, inedible and is not considered a “value” to me in any way.
